On your way to Grandma's for Christmas, your group’s car gets stuck in a blizzard. Your party makes its way to a remote cabin seeking refuge from the elements. Soaking wet and dangerously cold, it is crucial that you get the fireplace started! Soon everyone realizes this isolated shelter is no ordinary retreat. Can you figure out, within the hour, how to start the fireplace before you freeze?

We have a warrant to search one of his private speakeasies, and we have reason to believe his confidential ledger is hidden in there somewhere. You have one hour to either find his secret ledger and put him away for good ...or swim with the fishes!

They’ve protected it with the power of 4 magic talismans and a curse. To break the curse, you must unlock any locks that you may find. Then, use the 4 talismans to unlock the final chest containing the most valuable spoils! Argg you ready?

Where are we?
Cumberland, MD (3 Pershing Street, in the Allegany Museum building)
You'll find us on the 3rd floor of the Allegany Museum building. Parking is available at Cumberland's public parking lots or the on-street parking along Pershing Street. Parking costs $1 per hour on weekdays before 5pm. Parking is free everyday after 5pm or anytime on weekends. Daily free parking is available at the long-term trail lot at 14 Howard Street (the lot beneath the I-68 overpass). Parking at the long-term trail lot makes for a level walk of less than 200 yards along Mechanic Street to get to the front doors of the museum building.

Coming from the west (Deep Creek Lake area, approx. 45 min.)
Take I-68 East to Exit 43C (downtown). Turn left onto Queen City Drive. At the stop light, turn left onto Harrison Street. At the stop light, turn right onto Mechanic Street. We are on the right in the Allegany Museum building, at the corner of Mechanic Street and Pershing Street.
Coming from the east (Rocky Gap Casino, approx. 10 min.)
Take I-68 West to Exit 43C (downtown). Turn left onto Harrison Street. At the stop light, turn right onto Mechanic Street. We are on the right in the Allegany Museum building, at the corner of Mechanic Street and Pershing Street.
An easy drive from Deep Creek Lake or Rocky Gap Casino
Just take I-68 to downtown Cumberland! We are located at 3 Pershing Street Cumberland, MD 21502. You will find us on the 3rd floor (in room 306) of the Allegany Museum building, at the corner of Mechanic Street and Pershing Street.
